After purchasing these beauties in a juvenile state from award-winning Fleming’s Nurseries in Melbourne, they have been grown and nurtured at Winwood Advanced Tree nursery in Gordon, Victoria.

FOLIAGE
Medium green, pinnate leaves with three to seven leaflets and red petioles. Autumn colours are attractive bright red, orange and yellow, and leaves hold colour late into the season. Emerging leaves show a reddish-brown tinge giving a tonal effect as the tree comes into full leaf. Fallen leaves quickly disintegrate and rarely require cleaning up.
CULTURE
Will thrive in a wide range of soil conditions, wet or dry, of varied pH levels (can tolerate alkaline soils) and some coastal exposure. Reported to do well in drought conditions. Best when grown in full sun.
FLOWERS
Yellowish-green male flowers, borne early spring. Inconspicuous.
FRUIT
Fruitless.
