This maple shows good resistance to heat and is a well performer in tough conditions. Ideal for planting in streets, residential and urban areas.
After purchasing these beauties in a juvenile state from award-winning Fleming’s Nurseries in Melbourne, they have been grown and nurtured at Winwood Advanced Tree nursery in Gordon, Victoria.

FOLIAGE
Outstanding glossy, dark green, sharply lobed leaves, changing to excellent autumn tones in the yellows, oranges and bright reds.
CULTURE
Adapts to most soils but prefers those that are slightly acidic. Can withstand heat, low levels of drought and air pollution. Avoid pruning in late Winter and early Spring.
FLOWERS
Greenish yellow, borne in corymbs in late Spring. Little ornamental value.
FRUIT
Samaras in pairs.
