The Manchurian Ornamental Pear is of medium size with a lovely oval shape and features lush, glossy green foliage that flowers in early Spring. Leaves transform into vibrant yellow and orange hues in Autumn.
Ideal for parks and large gardens, the Manchurian Pear is not just beautiful but also resilient, thriving in various soil types and requiring minimal maintenance.
After purchasing these beauties in a juvenile state from award-winning Fleming’s Nurseries in Melbourne, they have been grown and nurtured at Winwood Advanced Tree nursery in Gordon, Victoria.

FOLIAGE
Glossy, dark green rounded leaves turning into varying autumn tones of plum-red, scarlet and gold, Foliage is held on the tree well into late Autumn.
CULTURE
Adaptable to a variety of conditions including moderate drought, air pollution and exposure. May struggle in very warm regions and in compacted soils. Best in full sun.
FLOWERS
White flowers to 3cm across in early Spring are pale pink in bud. One of the first ornamental pears to flower in Spring.
FRUIT
Inedible, greenish-yellow, globose pomes up to 3cm in diameter.
SIZE
The Manchurian Ornamental Pear grows to 9m x 7m in size.
