FOLIAGE
Small, dark green leaves that have a rough, serrated margin. Leaves are typically oval-shaped and can be up to three to five centimeters in length. In Autumn, foliage can take on a golden to yellow hue before dropping.
CULTURE
Thrives in full sun to partial shade, however, will produce the best foliage and growth in bright, indirect sunlight. In regions with very hot summers, it may benefit from some afternoon shade. Fairly drought-tolerant once established but still prefers consistent moisture.
FLOWERS
Small, inconspicuous flowers that are not especially showy, often greenish or yellow in color.
